Teachers play significant roles in lives of the students. They have a major role in lives of the student after their parents. The communication between the student and the teacher serves as a connection of two, which provide a better atmosphere for a classroom environment. Teachers are essential in building the children personality and the development of the academic performance. All teachers spend up to one-third of the day with students. Students are expected to respect their teachers the way they respect their parents. Building a good relationship between teachers and students is a challenging task. Poor teacher-student relationship may result in conflict between the two. There are many ways to develop positive relationships among teachers and students.

  • Love and care for your students- Teachers should be trusting relationship and interaction in the classroom. Respect between students and teachers should be mutual. Students obey the rules and regulations of the teachers that respect their feeling and those take them into considerations.
  • Encourage communication - Communication is the key to opens the door to a good teachers-students relationship. Communication serves a connection between teachers and students. Students should be free to discuss anything with their teachers and the teachers should be responding to their students needs.
  • Correct with Love - Teachers should correct their students with love. Students should be exposed to the different types of punishment. Spoken words sometimes better to correct the students.
  • Work on your mood- Teachers should learn how to handle and manage with stress or difficulties. They should be careful in dealing with their students when they are not in good mood.
  • Reward good performance- Teachers should be proud of the students when they perform well. Students should be praised rather than being criticized.
